The mission of the Distance Learning Program is to give students who cannot attend classes at one of VUL’s teaching locations or on the main campus in Lynchburg the opportunity to advance their education and enrich their lives through scholarly pursuits. VUL embraces lifelong learning in its traditional and non-traditional programs. Distance learning students with military experience may receive credit for prior training and experience. Students also may be eligible for credits based on professional certifications, technical training, national examinations, and documentation for other college-level learning. Programs of Study:
